Terms of Service

01 The Service

Brand Pilot monitors public posts on Twitter, Reddit, and Hacker News for topics you configure and delivers curated digests to your Slack workspace. You may also use it to track brand mentions and configure schedules and engagement filters.

02 Eligibility

You must be authorized to install Slack apps in the workspace you connect, and you must be at least 16 years old.

03 Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use Brand Pilot to monitor topics in violation of any third-party platform's terms (Twitter, Reddit, Hacker News).
• Use Brand Pilot to harass, stalk, or surveil individuals.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits (e.g. by creating multiple workspaces to evade the trial cap).
• Scrape or systematically extract data from Brand Pilot beyond your /monitor export allowance.
• Reverse-engineer the Service or attempt to disrupt its operation.

We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if you breach these rules.

04 Plans and billing

• The Service offers a 14-day free trial, then Starter ($29/month) or Pro ($79/month) plans, billed monthly via Stripe.
• Plan limits are documented at /monitor plan inside Slack.
• You may cancel at any time via /monitor upgrade → Stripe Customer Portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• After a failed payment we provide a 3-day grace window during which the Service continues operating. After the grace window your monitors are paused until payment resumes.
• All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

05 Your content

You own the search topics, brand terms, and filter configurations you submit. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to use this data solely to operate the Service for you — including sending it to Anthropic for AI analysis, and to the source platforms for fetching matching posts.

06 Third-party content

Posts surfaced in your digests are owned by their original authors and the platforms that host them. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any third-party content surfaced through the Service.

07 Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uptime, the availability of source platforms, or that AI analyses are accurate.

08 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages.

09 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10 Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. If we make material changes that adversely affect paying customers we will provide at least 30 days' notice.

11 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via in-app DM. Continued use after such a notice constitutes acceptance.

12 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be finalized], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
